Susan Stanley Broesche is a retired Texas educator. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Texas A&M University and a Master of Library Science degree from Sam Houston State University. In the classroom she taught language arts, and later served as an Educational Diagnostician. She lives with her husband of almost 50 years in the little town of Burton, Texas. Her daughter and son-in-law have given her a good reason to continue to have horses for her two grandchildren to ride in local rodeo play days. Her love of horses is the inspiration for her stories, which are based on real life experiences.
